Durham Miners Gala, or ‘The Big Meeting’ takes place on the second Saturday each July.
Traditionally the biggest union gathering in the UK, at its peak it attracted 250,000 people (six times the population of Durham!)
This year was the 125th anniversary. I took along my HVX200, Letus Extreme and a bag of fast prime lenses.
